We had our group leader meeting tonight and we found out what kind of work we will be doing this week. Our groups have some exciting projects for the week. My group will be finishing drywall on a big job. The building will be transitional housing or a shelter in the future. There has been very little funding for this buildign to be put back into service, so now Project Noah is doing the work to help put the building back into use. Our work group consists of the following people.
Jason
Robert
Hal
Gavin
Hadleigh
Brynne
Calvin
Simon
Catherine
Olivia
Janelle
I remain, Jason Frazer
The Banditos Azule work group has arrived safely in Slidell and has settled into our home for the week. Our project is a new build and we will focus on the foundation. Footers have been dug and formed. Our job will be to layout and install rebar throughout the footer to increase its strength and to allow it to pass an inspection prior to pouring concrete. Quite a departure from ASP's 20x20x20 footers!
Our team members include:
Arie Alverado, aka Lil R
Tara Gadd
Allison Glass
Meghan Burley
Joe Porter
Jon Butler
We are appreciative of the support and prayer we continue to receive from everyone back home.
Our group we named Chupacabra. We are going to be working on a garage with an apartment upstairs. The upstairs has been drywalled and we are finishing the tape and compound process. The man who lives here is 95 years old. He is still living in a FEMA trailer.
Our group is
Mary
Keith
Damian

Hope you all had a great work day. Looks like the weather is cooperating in the mere low 90's. :)
Thinking of you from the Atlantic Coast,
